I’m so glad. I’ve had the idea for this one for months and couldn’t get a decent picture of a wasp because, well, they’re jerks. The funny thing is when I was taking these pictures my wife came out and asked, “Are you trying to get stung?”
Fortunately I never did. I don’t know how I managed to get that close to a wasp without being attacked.
Yes, I took these and took the risk of nearly getting stung in the process. The ability of wasps to turn wood into paper is pretty amazing, although the way they turn it into nests makes it hard to write on.

Think I might have went with Google Images. I admire your dedication and glad you didn’t get stung.
I’m willing to suffer for my art, although Google Images would have given me better pictures.
You took these? Wow, so good?. I don’t like wasps but I do admire their ability to turn wood into paper, like tiny alchemists.
