In The Amityville Horror the ghost told them to get out of the house. White people stayed in there. Now that’s a hint and a half for your ass. A ghost say get the fuck out, I would just tip the fuck out the door! Lou Walker looked in the toilet bowl, there was blood in the toilet. And said, “That’s peculiar.” I would’ve been in the house saying: “Oh baby, this is beautiful. We got a chandelier hanging up here, kids outside playing. It’s a beautiful neighborhood. We ain’t got nuttin’ to worry about, I really love it, this is really nice.”

Love these quotes! Especially the Bronte, Gaiman and Shakespeare ones!
Somehow Gaiman and Shakespeare come up for me every Halloween, and I was glad to include Bronte in this year’s list.
The Stephen King quote resonated the most with me.

Definitely let’s not let the monsters win. Stephen King has always seemed to me to be enough of an optimist that I think he believes the monsters may win the battle but the good ones will win the war.

I’m so glad you like it. I’ve done signs, plants, devils, aliens, and now ghosts. I have no clue what next year’s Halloween theme will be.
Gotta go with T-Rex, Dromiceiomimus, and Uthahraptor as my favorite.

The dinosaurs of Ryan North are definitely the best, and have some valuable words on many other subjects too, including a career in the arts.
I can see Eddie delivering that line in his red leather jacket. I must have watched that 40 times and it made me laugh every damn time.

I embedded a link to Eddie doing that line. It’s one of my favorites and I can’t tell you how many times my Boy Scout troop repeated it around the campfire. It was really our favorite ghost story. I also like it that Jordan Peele said the title of “Get Out” was a deliberate tribute to Eddie Murphy’s bit.
