I invented blogging.
Okay, not really, but in 1995 a funny email was forwarded to me. I decided to forward it to several friends, and to make it easier I created a group. To protect everyone’s privacy, even though none of us were innocent, I called it “Anonymous”. It needed something more, so I added “Freethinkers”, because that sounded funny and reflected the diversity of the group.
Forwarding things that other people had written gave me the idea to start writing things of my own. My early efforts were crude, often flimsy constructions of mud and twigs, but they grew. Sometimes they even rivaled what I was forwarding, and eventually I only sent things I’d written.
So here it is: an accumulation of things that have sprung from my mind, offered up to yours.
